Nigeria’s agri-business in the sorghum cultivation is now among the world’s leading position at number two after the United States of America, USA, which is the number one world’s leading producer. Sorghum is a local grain grown predominantly in the semi-arid, savannah and grassland areas of Northern Nigeria and other parts of the world. According to  Vanguard , inquiries showed that the world sorghum production is forecast at 59.34million metric tonnes in 2017/18. A breakdown of the data, obtained from the United States Department of Agriculture (USDA), showed that USA’s output is projected at 8.4m metric tonnes while Nigeria is following with 6.4m metric tonnes and Mexico in the third position with 6.0m metric tonnes.

Well there are two ways to it. Abstinence from sex could be positive or negative at the same time, lets talk about the positive parts of sexual abstinence based on religion, it is wrong to have sex with someone that you not married too as it is considered a sin to God. Ugochi Ihezue, Miss Kebbi, on Saturday morning emerged the winner of the most beautiful girl in Nigeria 2017 (MBGN). Miss Kebbi Ugochi Ihezue She became the 30th MBGN after beating the remaining 35 other contestants to the crown. Miss Bayelsa came in as third runner-up, Miss Oyo came in as second runner-up while Miss Plateau came in as the first runner-up. NASA is about to go on an extraordinary development which may already be in motion, according to  "Galaxy Monitor"  the NASA acting Chief Administrator Robert Lightfoot,  explains that the mission to go to  'Mars'  will take a developmental approach such as the one that built the International Space Station, in order to foster habitability for humans over time. Vice-Chancellors of university (VC) of Nigerian Universities met in Abuja on Thursday on the ongoing strike by members of the Academic Staff Union of Universities (ASUU) and other matters. Professor Muftau Akanji  from Federal  University of Technology Minna described the strike as “very unfortunate”, saying that the industrial action had come “when many universities are trying to stabilise their academic calendar. For us in the FUT everything would have been normal this year”. He however pleaded with both the federal government and ASUU to settle their differences in the interest of the education sector, parents and students.

So I was picked up from school by my mom, it was a surprise anyway because I was expecting somebody else to come pick me up. It was on a Monday I think, so after packing my stuffs in the car and all, it was time to go home. So through out the journey back home I was gisting my mom about school and stuff, just for her to announce to me that she is taking me for a deliverance program and in my head I was like 'WTF' 😒😟😠😡those were my expressions at that moment. I was a long journey from school and a very quiet one because I wasn't even replying my mom and she was making up some jokes that were lame expecting me to laugh. Home Box Office (HBO), the American premium cable and satellite television network, which is owned by Time Warner recently lost control of their social media account to hackers. This "cyber attack" hit HBO last month, in which they threatened to release a massive 1.5 terabytes of stolen content from the account. So far, personal details of the ‘Game Of Thrones’ cast members have been shared, as well as the upcoming season 7 episode 6. The ‘fourth wave’ hack occurred earlier this month. HBO seemed to have taken back control of the account has some of the posts have been deleted. The hackers then released the shooting schedules for ‘Game Of Thrones’ and the upcoming season 2 of ‘Westworld‘ – which may give away potential plot details. According to reports, it has been claimed that the OurMine hackers are demanding around $6.5 million in Bitcoin from HBO in exchange for not leaking additional files.

Students Industrial Work Experience scheme also known as SIWES is a program that is designed by the university to expose students to the practical aspects of their course of study. It involves the attachment of a student to an organization in line with his or her respective course of study in the university that can provide the training and experience required in the industry, as these experience and  training cannot be obtained lecture rooms but the theoretical aspect or  knowledge being taught in lecture rooms shall be applied by the student in real industrial situations. As a student Caleb University my course of study is Biochemistry, I have been able to get as much experience in my workplace, my SIWES program is to last for a duration of 6 months.
