LINKIN PARK LEAD SINGER CHESTER BENNINGTON COMMITS SUICIDE!

Friends and family of Chester Bennington are in shock over the lead singer of the 'Linkin Park' apparent suicide.



According to DailyMail, the 41-year-old was found dead in his home in Palos Verdes near Los Angeles shortly 9am on Thursday.



A Los Angeles County coroner confirmed they were investigating Bennington's death as an apparent suicide but no  additional details were available.

Bennington hanged himself in his bedroom and he was at home alone at the time, he was found upstairs by his housekeeper.

Friends said they never suspected he could kill himself and Bennington was never the same after the death of his close friend Chris Cornell.

Chris Cornell killed himself in May by hanging, and Bennington killed himself prior to his birthday on thursday. The two were so close, according to his friends Cornell's death really affected Bennington who has also be struggling with 'addiction issues'.

His bandmates were said to be shocked by Chester's suicide and told TMZ they had a photoshoot to attend in Hollywood later on Thursday.

The singer had a history of drugs and alcohol abuse,  he is survived by 6 children and wife.

Rapper Meek Mill sentenced to up to four years in jail

Meek Mill has been sentenced to between two and four years in prison for violating his parole with two arrests, one for fighting and another for reckless driving. According to the Guardian,  the Philadelphia rapper's real name Robert Williams  has been on parole since autumn 2009, following a spell in prison on drugs and weapons charges. In March this year, the 30-year-old was arrested after a fight in St Louis airport and in August he was arrested on a charge of reckless driving. Although both charges were later dropped, the judge said the arrests violated Mill’s parole. He was immediately taken into custody. Jay-Z was among those who reacted to the sentencing.
